Description:

The Heartland Alliance International Children's Center (ICC) provides housing, counseling, case management and family reunification services to approximately 300 children a year, ages 0-17, who have been apprehended by the Department of Homeland Security. ICC has a licensed 54-bed facility. ICC provides to unaccompanied immigrant children these services: family reunification, counseling and case management, housing, education, medical care and recreation.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Intake Process:

Services available by referral only from Office of Refugee Resettlement/ Division of unaccompanied Children's Services(ORR/DUCS).

Eligibility:

Youth ages newborn to age 17 referred by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
