Description:

Hamdard Center for Health and Human Services in Addison specializes in service members of the South Asian community. Hamdard Center for Health and Human Services is dedicated to serving South Asian, Middle Eastern and Bosnian communities in Illinois provides assistance to victims of domestic violence and to other local community residents. Primary services include a 24-hour crisis line, up to six months of emergency shelter for abused women and their dependent children, including boys, and counseling and advocacy for abused women. Partner Abuse Intervention services are also available. Primary Health Care available. Additional services include information and referral, case management, counseling, psychiatric services, and elder abuse reporting. The Center is a member program of the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Services provided in English and South Asian Languages.
